The journey from a classic Georgian-style home and previously a Queen Anne house, rich with cream, gilt, and antique furniture, to a contemporary penthouse apartment represented a significant shift in design and lifestyle for our clients. The brief from the client was to create a masculine contemporary design that harmonised with the existing finishes of the penthouse. The overarching design concept centred on a neutral palette with bold hints of colour, driven by the clients' adventurous taste in abstract fabrics. This comprehensive project encompassed the complete transformation of the property into a fully designed, specified, and furnished home, ready for our clients to enter upon their return from vacation. In addition to interior design, Elegant Interiors also undertook project management, successfully delivering a beautiful home with a stunning bespoke media unit, complete with an integrated fireplace, for our clients to enjoy.

Challenges and Solutions:

Transition from Traditional to Contemporary: The primary challenge was transitioning from a traditional, opulent interior style to a modern, masculine contemporary design.
